Job Description:

Avanmed is a fast-growing agency in the healthcare space.  Avanmed featured services reach over 50 million potential patients around North and Central America —including existing patients, self-pay, or commercial insurance-based patients.

Job Role/ Responsibilities:

This person will work closely with Account Managers to write and edit docs while working to improve the quality and efficiency of the docs’ process. Documents include but are not limited to the following:

  • Website Page Content
  • Copy for Advertising Campaigns
  • Email Copy
  • Blog Writing
  • Proven ability to thrive in a high-energy environment where strategic activities are expected to be driven in parallel
  • Demonstrated experience building trust and influencing cross-functional teams and senior leaders
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple stakeholder relationships and needs in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to exercise high judgment decision making
  • Ability to conceptualize and execute projects, with a strong bias for action and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills


  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or another related field.
  • 3+ years of related writing and editing skills. Must be able to articulate a clear point of view on complicated issues in clear, concise communications.
  • 3+ years of experience managing content projects of medium or high complexity.
  • Strong editorial background and exceptional proofreading and content creation skills.
